WEEKLY MEDITATION
WEEK 1 – RECONNECTING WITH YOUR BODY
Centering Thought: Connected with my body – I feel joyful & energeticJournaling:
Write down 3 ways that your body has served you well, such as keeping you healthy, healing bruises, giving you energy etc.
Is there any areas of your physical health which there’s room for improvement?
Write down 2 enjoyable ways you can begin to enhance your vitality in these areas.
WEEK 2 – HEALING
Centering thought – I bring my body into healing & balanceJournaling:
Without judgement, write down 3 things that is interrupting your body’s natural healing response, such as lack of sleep, eating in a way you know you should not.
Write down one thing you are going to commit today to reverse that habit. Focus on what you actively WILL do, not stop doing.
WEEK 3 – CHOOSING AN OPTIMAL LIFESTYLE
Centering thought: I welcome change with joy & acceptanceJournaling:
Write down an unhealthy habit you would most likely to undo: poor sleep, lack of movement, bad diet, or stress.
After choosing one, bring awareness to why this unhealthy habit was formed. Write down the factors that keep the habit in place. Could be lack of attention, knowledge, old conditioning from the past, etc.
Write down one thing you can do to change this habit from inside and out.
WEEK 4 – PRIORITIZE YOUR SELF-CARE
Centering thought: I give my body perfect balanceJournaling:
If an angel came down with the power of changing 3 things in your life. What would they be?How can you be your own angel? How can you show yourself how much you care about your well-being? Write down 1 or 2 things you can do immediately to express how much you care about yourself.
WEEK 5 – FINDING OPPORTUNITY IN STRESSFUL SITUATIONS
Centering thought: I nurture my body through lightnessJournaling:
Write down 3 ways that you can bring more lightness into your physical body. Such as, fresh foods, walks/hikes outside etc.
Write down 3 ways that you can bring more lightness into your mind & spirit. Such as, restricting negative thoughts, watching less news on TV, spend more time with loved ones.
What does it mean to your personally to “live in the light”?
WEEK 6 – THRIVING IN YOUR BODY
Centering thought – I thrive because my body thrivesJournaling:
What would it mean to you to be thriving in all areas of life?Describe one person that you admire, who embodies this vision of a thriving life.
What is a personal issue that you find is holding you back from thriving? How would this person you admire go about resolving your issue? How can you do the same?
WEEK 7 – CARING FOR THE MIND
Centering thought – My mind is my intimate friend & healerJournaling:
Write down 3 things that you worry about the most, such as feeling unsafe, financial difficulties, getting sick, etc.Pick one of your worries and journal about what you believe to be the root cause to this worry. Be honest and gentle with yourself. Then write down any positive steps you can take today to start to heal it. Focusing on what you can do in the moment instead of worrying about the future.
WEEK 8 – EXPANDING YOUR AWARENESS EVERY DAY
Centering thought – Today I choose to be more open and acceptingJournaling:
Write down 3 common stressors that make your awareness contract, such as pressure at work, conflict in a relationship etc.Now write down one way you can begin to shift your perspective about it.
WEEK 9 – GETTING UNSTUCK TO FREE YOUR MIND
Centering Thought – I welcome new thoughts and experiencesJournaling:
Write down one area of your life where you feel the most stale and dull?Now list 3 simple ways you can begin to experience freshness and renewal in this area.
WEEK 10 – TURNING RESISTANCE INTO ACCEPTANCE
Centering Thought: Through acceptance, my life flows easily and joyfullyJournaling:
Write down the names of 2 or 3 people or things to do, that you find yourself resisting, disliking or have negative feeling about.
Now pick one person you want a better relationship with and list their good qualities. If you picked something you don’t like to do, write some benefits it can give you if you do it anyway.
WEEK 11 – HEALING WORRY, FEAR & ANXIETY
Centering thought: I create fearlessness instead of worry and anxietyJournaling:
Write down 3 things that you are most afraid of. Looking at your answers, write down all the ways these things are affecting you in the present moment.Looking at these anxieties that are not realistic problems right now, write downs ways to deal with them when they come back to bother you, such as meditation or taking a few deep breaths.
WEEK 12 – FINDING TRUE FULFILLMENT
Centering Thought: I seek true fulfillment withinJournaling: Journal about the 3 most fulfilling experiences in your life.
Pick one of these moments that you would like to have again. Journal about why this experience was so fulfilling.
Knowing why behind your fulfillment, write down the steps you can take to repeat this experience. Maybe not the exact circumstances but how you can recreate the feeling.
